Smt. Jayshri Ravishankar is a Statistician working for VAOIG (Department of Veterans

Affairs- Office of Inspector General). Jayshri has over 20 years of working experience

for various federal agencies such as FDA, VBA, Department of Education, and Energy

Information Administration. Jayshri has possessed extensive knowledge of different

types of data through her work experience in various agencies.

Jayshri has acquired interest in Bharatayam Classical Dancing through her daughter

who completed her Rangapravesham in July 2015. Jayshri has always helped and

attended many classical dance programs that were conducted by Nrityanjali school of

dance. Jayshri is a board member of Nrityanjali School of Dance. Jayshri is a certified

Yoga teacher and currently teaching in-person and online classes for Shri Yoga.

Jayshri often volunteers at JSS Mission in Gaitherburg, MD. Jayshri like to connect

with mother nature through the long walks in in the parks.

 Smt. Sukanya Badrinath is passionate about Indian classical dance. She was a student of Smt. Krishna Kumari Narendran. Several years later she revived her dance journey under the guidance of Smt. Thejashwini RamaRao.

Sukanya did her under-graduation from the University of Colorado. She worked for a few Fortune 500 companies before taking up a position as a consultant on a federal project and and she currently works for Citi Bank.

She lives in Ijamsville with her husband and two young boys. She loves to travel with them and in Summer, during the weekends, you can find her on a cricket ground cheering her boys’ cricket team. 

 Smt. Padma Shinde is the parent of Pranika who is learning Bharatanatyam dance from Padma Paadam Dance School and performing along with other students in the DMV area. Padma was thrilled to join the board of directors in 2023.

Ms. Padma Shinde, holds an MBA from IOWA,USA, and is a CPA & CMA. She has a Bachelor’s degree, and is a CA & CWA from India. Padma brings to the organization nearly two decades of management experience in the private, public and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on developing policies and procedures to improve performance and productivity across different businesses and countries.

Currently, she is a CFO of IT software company, Business Integra (BI), a federal and commercial IT, professional services firm.  In Dubai, UAE she worked for Bridgestone & AL Maya Group in a senior management role. She began her career starting an Independent CA firm in Mumbai.

She was an active member of the Lions Club of South Mumbai, India. She helped various religious organizations in the US to streamline their accounting system. She also volunteered at the DC kitchen.     

In her family, her daughter Pranika holds the Guinness World record by memorizing complete Bhagavad Gita. Padma also helps her husband in their business.
