Last year, in 2024, we hosted a vibrant and engaging art workshop for children aged 7 to 15, led by the talented Smt. Shridevi Yogeshwar. The workshop offered a wide range of hands-on creative activities, including pencil sketching, coloring, clay art, doll making, jewelry making, and henna art. Under her patient and expert guidance, the children not only learned new artistic techniques but also gained confidence in expressing themselves through various mediums. The workshop was filled with joy, curiosity, and creativity, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this enriching experience.
We also had the privilege of organizing a Bharatanatyam makeup workshop for parents and students, conducted by the skilled and experienced Smt. Neelima Bramhandam. This hands-on session focused on teaching the essentials of professional Bharatanatyam stage makeup, traditional hairstyling, and costume dressing. Parents and students participated enthusiastically, learning valuable techniques to confidently prepare for performances. The workshop was highly appreciated for its clarity, practicality, and the personal attention given to each participant. It empowered parents to support their children more effectively during stage programs and helped students understand the importance of presentation in classical dance.
