Shloka Classes

In addition to her expertise in Bharathanatyam, Vid. Thejashwini Ramarao takes great pleasure in imparting knowledge of shlokas (Samskrutham prayers/hymns), Indian history, culture, and heritage to individuals of all ages who are eager to learn. Starting from the first week of August 2023, new online shloka classes will be offered.

These classes will cover simple Samskrutham shlokas and stothras dedicated to various deities, with a particular focus on correct pronunciation. Students will also engage in discussions about Samskrutha Subhashithas, which are short and memorable verses containing valuable life lessons.

Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to delve into the stories from revered texts such as the Ramayana, Mahabharatha, Bhagavatha, Upanishads, and more, gaining valuable life insights from these sacred scriptures.

To facilitate practice, students will receive supporting audio files and scripts for the shlokas, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching learning experience.

Fee: $40 per month

 The proceeds generated from this class will be directed towards charitable organizations in both the United States and India.
