Rangapravesham - August 2024

 On August 10th, 2024, our student Ms. Ishani Biswas beautifully presented her Arangetram with the thematic presentation titled “Vara Kavi: Royal Poetry in Dance.” This unique production celebrated the rich tradition of court poetry in India, introducing audiences to renowned poets from our history. The performance delved into the lives and passions of these literary masters, highlighting their royal patrons, the regions they hailed from, the languages they wrote in, and the distinct styles that defined their compositions. Carefully curated pieces from these court poets were chosen and choreographed for the stage, creating a seamless blend of poetry, music, and movement. The production was a grand success and deeply appreciated by the audience for its intellectual depth, cultural richness, and artistic excellence.
